Project 100
We're collecting 100 real stories from women in perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause across cultures, backgrounds, and life paths.
Why Your Story Matters
For too long, women have navigated perimenopause and menopause in silence without support, without information, sometimes even without someone to talk to. This project breaks that silence.
Every woman's experience is unique, shaped by her body, her culture, her circumstances, and her community. By sharing 100 diverse stories, we create a tapestry of wisdom that helps other women feel informed, prepared, and never alone.
Our goal is simple: to listen, to learn, and to share this wisdom so the women who come after us have the support we wish we'd had.
Understanding the Journey
Perimenopause
The transition phase before menopause. Hormone levels begin to change, and periods may become irregular. Many women notice changes in sleep, mood, energy, or focus during this time. This phase can last several years and often begins earlier than expected.
Menopause
Menopause is defined as the point when a woman has not had a menstrual period for 12 consecutive months. It marks the end of reproductive years and the beginning of a new life stage.
Post-menopause
Post-menopause is the stage after menopause. Some symptoms ease, while others may continue. Long-term health, energy, bone strength, heart health, and overall wellbeing become especially important during this phase.
There is no single "right" menopause experience. Every story is valid.
